Breville One-Touch Tea Maker
A few years ago I received an appliance that transformed my entire tea experience. The Breville One-Touch Tea Maker has been a fantastic tool I use every day. Just like a coffee maker, one just needs to add water, place the loose-leaf tea in the canister, select the programmable tea setting, and push the Tea button. Remember that famous infomercial slogan “set it and forget it”? Well, that pretty much sums up my mornings making tea.
As you may already know, making a great cup of tea requires specific water temperature and brew time. This tool already has pre-programmed settings for green, white, oolong and black tea. It really does take the guesswork out of making a perfect cup of tea! Also, it has a button to add your preference, and it has a setting for a strong, medium, or mild option. Plus, it can keep the tea warm once it is done.
This tea maker does it all. It heats the water, steeps the tea and keeps it warm. You can make up to 6 cups of tea, which I find convenient for entertaining. I personally like to use it to make iced tea in the summer…which is pretty much all year long for those of us here in south Florida. I make my tea, let it cool and violá! I’ve been experimenting by mixing different types of tea, such as Moroccan mint and black tea for a nice morning burst of energy. It is honestly my favorite tool. The only thing I don’t like about it is that it stains after several uses, which is a given due to the tannin present in tea. Either way, I think the pros outweigh the cons in this one. I hope you’ve found this short piece informative, as always please let me know what you think, and if you have used this product before, let us know your experiences with it.
